General reviews about the hotel

The location is very nice, stuffs were very helpful and friendly, jaccuzi bath was awesome(a bit noisy when in use so worried next room though), free wifi connection and reasonable price. First night when arrived, our key was spare key. The front person explained the background and promised that he checks people coming in the hotel to keep safety. Next day he showed us email reply from the guest stayed previously in our room who forgot to return the room key and left the hotel for Amsterdam. His care was excellent and his way to comfort us was very royal. We so much appreciated it.

How dare they not tell us of public work being done around the entire hotel (3 sides) when booking? How dare they not let us know they have an electrical problem. We lost power 3 times in 4 days! The phones in France are hooked to the electric system and I was cut off in the middle of my call home!!!!

Overpriced for small illfurnished rooms- minimal bathroom very poor breakfast - served on low coffee tables - with minimum plates (&1 spoon !!)

Very small rooms , some rooms are even much more smaller where you dont have a proper wardrobe and a window. .. Quite expensive compared to the other hotels but you save a lot of time and money thanks to the location

Metro station across the street, threee cafe's and two bakery's with in 30 seconds of the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great to get around.

-Very helpful and friendly front desk staff -All front desk staff spoke English very well -North American amenities -Felt safe and secure -Elevator -Excellent location as right in the city and near 2 metro stops (2 different lines) -Great hairdryer -Conveniently located near many cafes, bakeries and the park (Luxumberg Gardens)

-Sometimes no shower water pressure and cold to luke warm water -No bathrobe -Very rough towels; they should get softer towels -Only one thick douvet on the bed - no bedsheets inbetween the douvet and mattress cover.

For the expense of the room we were cramped, squished into a small space. We had to carry heavy luggage up a winding staircase as we stayed on the 6th floor.

Pros

Large bed, comfortable bedlinen and matress, my room was facing a back yard so was very quiet, and even if I was quite close to the elevator, no noise was heard. A water boiler was free to use and coffee and tea was also offered. The bathroom was large, very clean and comfortabe, and the little shampoo and shower gels were quite nice. First of all, the location is ideal . .. .

The breakfast was very good (fresh orange juice) but I could not choose what I wanted (no self service), and the room I took my breakfast in was furnished only with armchairs and very low tables, so not so comfortable to sit around to eat. .. The TV channels were quite strangely organized on my TV. .. .. . I also could not switch off the AC or something like an electrical air van??? so it was noisy and a little bit disturbing. all these details are not so important, and globaly I would stringly recommend this hotel.
