- Clever position between 2* and 3*, with 2* standards (small room), and a higher standard attitude (24h reception, free wi-fi), and therefore intermediate pricing (reasonable for Paris . .. ) - Clean and friendly

If you book a single room ask if it has a window. They are renting single rooms without window - just with a door to a patio for the normal price and I think this is totally overpaid.

Pros

A small nice hotel with nice and clean rooms, quiet and central locational, excellent breakfast, wifi internet, friendly hotel manager, personal attention, reserved parking place. There are many french guests who stay there on their Paris visits. The location is great - a good quarter of Paris, 100 m from Metro and bus station, 15 minutes walk from the Place de l'Etoile. A nearby MacDonald working till small hours is great, too. Personally, I stayed at the hotel at least 10 times.

As it is a residential building converted to small hotel, it lacks elevator, real lobby and so on. There is no minibar at the room (but it's maybe for the better).

The man at the reception was very kind and spoke English - which is not very common in France. He was friendly and helped us to carry the heavy baggage. All in all I would recommend it for anybody else.

I had a very small room on the ground floor looking directly to the street at the street level - feeling of unsafety when i tried to open the window letting some fresh air coming in. Room was very small and the lightning was extremely few. Practically I could not read in the room.
