Hotel Dacia Luxembourg * * *

Nothing much comes to mind - the bathroom door looked a bit shabby but that's it.

The room 68 (a superior room) was very small. It might be very difficult for 2 people with more luggage to stay in this room for some more days. The breakfast is basic with coffee/tea, bread, jam, joghurt, juice and fruit salat.

Our room was tiny with minimal space for two large suitcases. However, we were at the hotel only to sleep and to park our belongings, so the size of the room was not terribly inconvenient for us. Perhaps the room could use a fresh paint job, but we stress that it was very clean and the bathroom is new.

Can't think of any -- have stayed at Dacia Luxembourg three times, have every reason to stay there again next time we vist Paris.

Rates were high. .. but is is Paris (Maybe). .. came from Bordeaux and E cost for room vs value had Majestic in Bordeaux so far over Lux. .. .. BUT. .if you can get the Rate. .. .Good For You. .. Would not waste any time going into the Dungeon for petit dejeuner. .. .. So Thank God I could get coffee for the Mrs @ Starbucks. .. . CHANGE the carpet in room 47

The room was somehow small, the in-room facilities were enough (though they can be improved)

The gentleman that was on duty was extremely pleasant and very helpful. The two different ladies that were on duty during the day. .. not so much. It was as if we were bothering them if we asked any questions. Our last night at the hotel was extremely stressful. The hotel lost power that morning and the gentlemen mentioned above was very concerned our our wake up call. He came to our room with a flashlight to make sure we were up. He was extremely apologetic even thought it was not his fault.

The room we stayed in was a little small - probably typical of hotel rooms in Paris. The desk/table a little cramped.

I guess the French people like to sing all night on the street.

The only thing that bothered us was that the cleaning staff entered our room daily even though we had left the "do not disturb" sign on the door all day. We did not need daily cleaning of the room. Once they came in while we were still in the room, though they quickly left with apology once they realized we were there. Would have appreciated them respecting our wish to have our room left alone.
