Its cheap, its clean, its got modern bathrooms, its got a great location, its got free WiFi, the staff are all as helpful as staff can be, its got absolutely everything you need for a few nights in Paris! The area around the Rue de Lyon is totally safe, plenty of coffee shops and cafes, Metro a stones throw away and open top tour busses nearby.

Very old carpets smell damp Black woman which serves breakfast is not very friendly and speaks all the time on her phone, or discuss with her coworker, wants that one takes seat where she orders.

The staff was very friendly & all spoke English, which was important since we didn't speak French. The location was great. I enjoyed that real Parisians lived in the area & that it was not completely taken over by tourists.

Excellent location minutes from Gare de Lyon mainline and metro with direct line to the main sites. Adjacent to a Mcdonalds - that may sound heretical but we had two awful expensive french meals! Free WiFi!

Under construction, full of dust, noisy, stairs unsafe, way overpriced for the miserable condition it is in. Tiny, cramped, airless room, tiny bathroom. Director refused to refund our money for the second night when we arrived at the hotel and discovered its horrible state. We took the financial hit and went across the street to the reasonable, comfortable, and attractive Holiday Inn, even closer to the Gare de Lyon.

Very close to the Gare de Lyon train station, so one can very easily drop one's luggage there then walk back to the station and take the tube to almost anywhere in the city. I've know the place for years, and generally stay there whenever I have to go to Paris.

The place could do with a little re-painting of some walls and re-varnishing of the wooden parts of the furniture (I was in room 204). It's a pity the board on which everything for breakfast was displayed was unfinished on the sides - that looked a little weird.

The room is very dirty. Moquette is dirty, toilette walls are dirty, pillows are terrible (don't look them under pillowcase). The room is quite small, but this is nor a real problem. But this is not a healty room!
