You do not have to travel on the underground to have an evening meal or snack as there are many bars and restaurants just around the corner. The area is often patrolled by the police to deter problems. Lots of happy hour offers.

There are so many cafes/restaurants to choose from so beware that some places are much more expensive than others especially in the evening.

No heat first day and night, and it was very cold. Room was freezing! No hot water third day. Room (twin) was extremely small, (and we are small people) Passing each other required a climb over the bed. Room was expensive when compared to other two and actually three-star hotels in area. We have stayed there many times before, sadly, we will not be back. And we never complain. A bad stay at a place that we have enjoyed before and found to be a good value.

We loved Paris. The people were very helpful and friendly, the food great, the wine cheap, Rue Mouff was alive, Metro and RER were very good, hotel location was good, city is clean, and there is lots to see.

Rooms are small, beds are hard, museums and major attractions very crowded, streets are noisy, and it's expensive. But we loved it all and will be back!

Unsafe elevator; Room too small for two people. Room and bathroom very small. Not much room to store clothes and suitcases. They provided two crumpled plastic cup by day. In spite of I have paid the reservation of shuttle service to airport with the hotel receptionist, they did not make the appointment with the provider and we need to take a taxi and paid 66. 40 Euros and the taxist.

Very good locatio. Near the subway and restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Although it took a long time and wasn't not sure if it was possible my boarding pass was printed by the reception. My room was very quite. I really aprecieted that. Because I just ask for it the moment I did the reservation. They helped me every time I asked at the reception.

The room was very small. I had to move my lugages from one place to another to move around the room. The lift was very small too. To bring all my lugagges down I had to took the lift twice.

Pros

Very good location! Walking distance from a few of the must see major sights with alot of shopping to do on the way and also 1 block from the Metro. The room had all the amenities including A/C since we booked a superior double room. Get a room with a view, it's a definite plus.
