Pros

The location is wonderful, near the Tour Eiffel and pretty close to the Metro station, line 8 (station Boucicaut) over Avenue de la Convention. Utilizing the Metro you can go wherever you want inside the I'le de la Citè or even outside the city limits. Baths totally renewed, good internet connection, good breakfast service.

Some of the front desk staff should greet people when they arrive through the doors and make them feel welcome. They seemed to keep their heads down instead. There was one front desk clerk who was more friendly and approachable; perhaps if the front desk would ask guests if there were any questions.

Breakfast is good, bread is awesome. Nicely remodelled bathroom. Location is great, close to Metro. Walking to Eiffel. Supermarket is next door.

No shampoos and conditioner, broken sink/clogged always, internet/wireless unavailable until we complained, it took 2 days to fix.

Pros

Well known to us , we havw stayed there several times now. The upgrade has been very well done. The location is good for us but is not as 'central' as some might wish. Fortunately the Metro is close by.

It was a big struggle for us (aged 75 and 78) to manage the stairs to the 3rd floor while the lift was out of service! We had the sympathy of the staff who also had a huge struggle.

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Sound proof windows. Nice bathroom. Free Quick wifi. Computer with printer available in the lobby.

Noisy street because of the scooters and trucks. Bed cover had two cigarette holes in it. Small room. No mini bar.

Nice hotel, supermarket, bars, restaurants, baker round the corner, not far to Porte de Versailles. Subway 5 Minutes walk away. Bathroom and also hotel romm were recently renovated.

We liked the area. never been before. nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. the girl at the reception was nice and helpfull. the room was ok, especially the bathroom. the breakfast was very diversed. lot of options to choose from.

We didn't like the fact that it was a smoking room. we thought it was not even allowed to have those. so we thought that was a big con! another big con was the woman who served breakfast. she was so unfriendly and even rude.

Inexpensive, clean, friendly staff, free wi-fi, grocery store near by, quite a few restaurants in local area. Pizza Hut across the street. Leave luggage at hotel after check-out if you would like to explore the city another day. Newly renovated bathrooms.

Holes in the sheets, guy at reception was smoking and we could smell the smoke in our first floor room, only two parking spaces so if you drive you will need to reserve a space ahead of time, additional parking in public garage about 5 blocks away - 20 Euros per day. No iron or ironing board ( I was told "it is forbidden")
