The hotel was in perfect location , the staff were really friendly and a great help, plenty of shops and resteraunts right by the hotel , 5 minuiet walk from the louvre and was a direct station outside the hotel to chdg airport . if was to return to paris would deffinatley stay here . couldnt of found better

Pros

The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location, which is just steps away from Chatelet metro and RER, are central in Paris. Room 51 room came with a great walk-in closet. It was nice to have a public computer available in the lobby.

The hotel is centrally located near everything that anyone could possibly want/need. Especially enjoyed the bars/restaurants right in front of the hotel. The staff was exceptional. I would definitely stay there again

The only thing I didn't like was the shower. Because we were on the top floor, the bathroom ceiling had a slope right where the bathtub is, so it was hard getting into the tub without hitting your head on the ceiling

Great location! -- directly in front of a major metro station; easy walk to Notre Dame, Ile de la Cite, etc. Friendly front-desk staff who spoke decent english (so we were able to communicate), fresh towels each day. Decent breakfast buffet.

Shower was very small and without a curtain or other way of keeping water from getting all over the bathroom. Room was very small, but not any smaller than is typical in Paris. Elevator was very small -- could only really accommodate two people at once.

Outrageously overpriced, room much smaller than expected, difficult to control heat in an "air conditioned" room and wasn't a great nights sleep as was too hot and a lot of noise coming from the corridors from 6am onwards. Also paid extra for champagne which turned out to be a tiny bottle in a bucket of about 5 ice cubes

This is a small hotel in the center of a an area of clubs, bars and lots of shopping ( Les Halles is two blocks away). The rooms were clean and relatively spacious (by Paris standards)

There is no parking ( nearest public lot is BLOCKS away). The hotel is in a pedestrian area, so be prepared to haul all of your luggage about a half block from the nearest street where taxis can drop off. This hotel would not be suitable for older couples or folks with lots of luggage. Very poor internet connection.

The bed is extremely small, the bathroom too. No shower curtain means the whole bathroom is soaked after a shower. The shower head couldn't be hanged so we had to hold it the whole time. The doors are too 'heavy', i. e. they make too much noise when they shut, it really wakes you up.
