Almost no space to put the clothes: no cupboard to put hangers, no shelves. Since I stayed for a week and needed different types of clothes this was an inconveneince. The room also didn't have a window.

The room I was allocated initially (no. 23) was just a box: no space to move, no surface to use, no hanging space, and hardly any daylight. As I had booked a long time in advance and was staying 6 nights, I should not have been given that room. Luckily a better room was available (no. 32); if it had not been I would have had to find another hotel, which would have spoiled my holiday.

Bernard, one of the receptionists, was very attentive and nice. The location is perfect. The room was clean.

The room looks much better on pictures, it actually is small and decoration looks old and worn. The sheets were worn out and the mattress is old and uncomfortable. Another receptionist (a woman) was not helpful at all. The hairdryer does not work. There is not enough light in the room. If you draw the curtains people in the street can see you.

Four floor high, lovely ancient, but very small spiral stare case with uneven steps. No elevator. Shower could only be entered by squeezing yourself through a 25cm wide space between the washbasin and the wall. No hook to hang the shower head (how much effort could that be to fix?).

The room was very small. No possibiloity to unpack. Only one chair. The hairdryer has not been cleaned for a very long time. We had not expected to be placed on the 4th floar. The staff was very nice.

It is a very sweet little place with a wonderful family room (11) in my favourite neighbourhood in paris.

I was very unhappy that the guy who did the check out was not able to split the invoice into what was the business element (room and my breakfast) and what was the private element (my wife's breakfast, extra drinks) and that he did not do anything to find out how it could be possibly done. he just said he cannot do it and that was it.

We had to "shop" for a room. Some were really small or had lumpy beds. We finally settled om number 12 and it was charming. Wi-fi doesn't work well in the rooms so it was hard to look up info on Paris.

Great location - only got the metro once. In one of the most inviting areas of Paris and near one of the best chocolatiers/patisseries. Helpful staff.
