The location was great, the room had a great parisian charm about it. The staff were very helpful and polite. Were able to give me directions to local facilities. I would stay at the hotel again. Price and location cant be beat. The cafe next door did a great Steak and Chips and some of the staff speak english and are very polite. short walk to streets full of cafe's resturants and fast food.

Its like a 'home'. so everyone showering together means hot water does come and go a bit. (part of the charm of a building over 100 years old!) Also you do hear the neighbors open/close doors. Not a negative. . its part of the charm and should be what one expects from any building in the centre of Paris. There is a small lift for one person and bags. Fat people will have trouble, - but there IS a lift. most buildings wouldnt have one. I had no trouble. only thing i thought was a bit weird was that you have to leave your key as you come/go. but then again, that means you cant lose it and they let you in 24/7 so really isnt much of a problem.
