Great location to main landmarks while still on a quiet small street. Friendly staff at reception. access to wifi was very good and inexpensive.

Pros

We loved the hotel! Ian and Joelle went out of their way to help us find another hotel when we wanted to stay an additional night and Ile de France was full. They were also helpful in supplying information on a variety of subjects. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel like we were family.

3-bed room very small. Bath/shower inconvinient. Could not stand up and shower, no curtain. Expensive breakfast.

The hotel and staff were great, spoke English. The room was large enough for two people, comfortable and clean. The air conditioners are not turned on until May and our room was too warm, but the staff turned ours on in April for our comfort. Perfect! The continental breakfast was good. The location was great with access to the Metro for any of the sites.

Even though the continental breakfast was good, the local bakery's were cheaper for just a quick croissant and tea. The website says a shuttle is included to and from the airport, but it is actually only available from the hotel to the airport and there was a fee. However, the staff provided information on taking the Roissy bus back to the airport for only 10 euros.

Internet sometimes doesn't work especially in midnight. If you need emergency overseas communication, it's a really trouble.

My reservations said that a shuttle was available for pick up from the airport but when we called the hotel we were told to take a cab, which ended up costing us nearly $40. 00 because the driver could not find the hotel. Room was crowded but I expected that.

We are quite familiar with the area. .. Opera, Bourse, Vaudeville Restaurant, Juvenile's Wine Bar. Close to La Fayette, Louvre, Sacre Couer. .. For years we had a friend who lived in this area and being in Hotel Ile de France Opera was just as cozy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The staff was outstanding!!! They were very friendly, spoke English, and were extremely helpful. We loved our stay! The location was also very good. We could walk to everything we wanted to visit. The hotel is off the heavy tourist area so it is more quiet and less crowded at night which we liked. The bathroom seemed very new.

Our room for three was small (which is typical for Europe) but it was quaint and clean. The air conditioner was loud and didn't seem to work very well but the windows opened which we enjoyed. The beds were hard but we got used to them after several nights.
