General reviews about the hotel

Lovely lady at reception -very thoughtful, warm and helpful. The room was comfortable and I felt very much at home. Although location was quite central, it was quite quiet, which was fantastic. I will definately be back again :)

The hotel decor is beautiful and yet modest. at the hotel one can feel "home away from home". the personel is friendly and highly competent. one would defenetly like to come back to the hotel for another stay.

The hotel is truly a gem. My room was spotlessly clean, very pretty and spacious relative to other small Paris hotels. The service at the front desk was stellar--each person on the staff could not have been more helpful in answering questions and making any arrangements necessary. Breakfast was lovely and generous.

No real cons I can think of. The breakfast room is a little dark and small--may need some renovation. That's such a minor point, compared to all the wonderful things about this hotel.

Small, and really good welcoming personal service. Quiet courtyard rooms. Tasteful decor. Well located, despite being a little way from the "touristic centre". Repeat guest, and have also stayed at St Gregoire, and Tourville.

Carpet is seriously worn and stained. No glass or curtain in shower and water that oversprays from the shower is rotting the door and carpeting just outside the restroom. Maid service better on some days than on others. Expensive. .. . but what isn't in Paris? I gave a 8/10 for value for the money - comparing to NYC - where i stay often. Generally you get more for your money in NYC and other large us cities. For breakfast, I would suggest purchasing bread and croisants from a better bakery. The bread and croisants are just "average" and much better can be found in Paris. Sounds like a lot of cons. .. but really we did enjoy our stay and found the hotel to be very servicable and comfortable.

The location was great - very close to shops and many restaurants and even very easy to walk to major attractions. The staff was so friendly and helpful with all of our needds.
