Handy shower is out of order.

Air conditioner didn't work too well and street is noisy.

The woman at the front desk, Christine, reacted rudely when I told her that our room had not been cleaned. We returned to the hotel at 4 p. m. (we left at 10 a. m. ) and found that our room had not been cleaned. She said, "What would you like me to do, clean the room myself"? She told me that the housekeeper had gone home. I had to ask for clean towels. They were not offered, nor did she offer an adjustment for the room. My husband had to ask for an adjustment on the day we left (7/2/11)

The rooms are simply appointed, but very comfortable and clean - this isn't a problem at all if you spend most of your time out and about as you should. The hotel does not offer much in the way of services except for the concierge, cleaning staff, and breakfast. There is no spa, restaurant, etc, so stick to the larger, pricier places if you want that. Again, this was not a problem at all for us, as the location is perfect and all we wanted was a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay that was well located within the city. These are not really 'cons' but just things to keep in mind as you decide where to book. We were really happy with our stay and would book at the Saint-Gregoire again.

We had the least expensive room and there is only a hand held European shower in the bathtub. It works fine but takes more time than an american version .

None. If I was being very picky I would say our room was a little more dated than those photographed on the web site.

The room is a little small. That is a problem because we have only one little stiff backed chair and a stool. I like to sit and read in a comfortable, cushioned chair and read a book. No room for that, I think.

Small room. Day staff sometimes cordial/sometimes grumpy.

This hotel is not for someone who wants the Sheraton or other American chain hotel. The furniture in our room was old but well kept, the bathrooms were very clean and the bed was in great condition but the hotel is aged. You do not feel as if you're staying in an old run down hotel but instead, in a charming Parisian hotel. the shower also worked better than the last name brand star hotels I stayed at.

Not that many good restaurants nearby, but plenty 15 minutes in a number of directions or via metro.
