Free internet was a definite plus - nice feature for your guests and something that isn't available or free at many expensive hotels. Quiet Location is fantastic - many restaurants, train station, grocery, bakery, etc. so close.

Excellent location, near sites and sounds of Paris. Close to train station for travel advantage. Lots of nearby restaurants and cafes too. Veronique and Beatrice were so very helpful!

Beds separating down the middle during the night. Not enough hooks on bathroom to hold towels. No shelf in shower enclosure to hold shampoo or soap products. Heavy smell of urine and human waste at front entrance, very dirty external appearance.

Some of the rooms need freshening (e. g. room 28 - the shower head needs cleaning, the tap at the wash basin probably needs it as well). There is not enough light to read at night.

Pros

Excellent location for getting off Air France bus line 2 from Charles de Gaulle Roissy. 20 minute walk from the Marche Bastille (Thurs & Sun) Nice big double room. Even with 2 suitcases there was plenty of space to spare. Reasonable size desk with some shelves. Lots of eating places around. Uniform room rates - no high season increases. Internet booking Staff very tolerant of fractured French; they telephoned our next hotel to let them know our arrival time.

Most of Paris tourist attractions are a metro ride away. A small fridge in the room would be very welcome. The 2 bedside lights could have been a bit higher wattage (ie brighter) but it was adequate.

The hotel is clean, it has a lift, the location is very good and the breakfast is ok

The 2 women at the front desk are extremely rude and unpolite - the brunette one is called Veronique and the blond one is the manager. they support each others manners, therefore there is nobody to complain. I suggest taking care with both because the situation can turn pretty bad if you do/say or complain about something that they do not agree with.
