Helpful, multi-lingual staff. Nice view and amenities, such as in-room safe and little refrigerator. Location near good restaurants, groceries, and an open-air market one street away Wed and Sat. Public bus at front door goes to Musée d'Orsay, Opéra, etc. Convenient elevator. My second time there, and would definitely stay there again.

Our double room was small, but well appointed, so the size was not very important. A second chair would have been nice, but there was really no place to put it. The bed served as a chair.

Pros

Location, location, location. The #4 Metro line is right there and goes everywhere you need to go. The view from our window of the Eiffel Tower by day and by night. The decor was lovely. The staff was helpful. The double glazed windows kept our room quiet even though it was right on the street.

The room is small. The breakfast room doesn't live up to the rest of decor. Only one plug and it shuts off when you shut off the room lights, so you can't charge any devices when you are out of the room

The breakfast was a disappointment. The quality of the bread was poor and the croissant was mediocre. There is no excuse for a baquette de mauvaise qualite, especially in Paris. Fortunately, there are many opportunities for a better breakfast within very close walking distance.

They charged me for a night I wasn't there. Even though I explained our arrival was a day late, due to a total black out of all of southern California, and parts of Arizona and Mexico. Not even a consideration of a break on the price of the one night.
