Pros

We have used this Hotel for every one of our frequent visits to Paris, over the last 15 years, firstly with our children and now alone. Always a friendly welcome, always a feel of "coming home". Excellent location for major shopping and sites.

Pros

The hotel is central and well-placed and my room was basic but comfortable. I particularly liked the well-designed and modern bathroom, with an EXCELLENT shower.

The only negative point were the narrow corridors which were dark and a little 'vétuste'. A coat of white paint would be recommended.

The shower area is too tiny! Tge double glass windows don't work really: I could hear every sound coming from the street. Because of that, I was waking up at 6h every morning. Other problem was the noise made by the other guests; since the room didn't have accoustic treatment, I could hear every dingle noise coming from the corridor.

We had a nice refurbuished room and bathroom, much better than the photos on the website. Very helpful and serviceminded people in the reception, helped us finding the way and where to go in Paris. Near shops, restaurants and metro.

Very clean rooms with modern bathrooms, extremely friendlu helpful staff, outdoor cafe steps away, grocery across the street, and Starbucks around the corner, not to mention easy access to trains & buses at Gare St. Lazarre. Walking distance to the big department store. Free computer in the lobby.

There is no air conditioning but we were given a fan. With a bus stop outside the door and a couple of local cafes, it can be noisy until very late at night. Rooms are small but affordable so that you can spend on other things. Small closet and no dresser but I should have packed less.

Great location - you can walk to a lot of sights and nice areas in Paris, if you want to use public transport there is a train station with a numerous metro and bus lines just around the corner. The rooms are very spacious (especially for Paris), some of their rooms are renovated and have nice big bathrooms as well.

Very nice staff. Excellent English speaking. Located next to saint lazar train station, many buses and metro located next to the hotel. Wi-Fi in the room (Free). Good breakfast. We really enjoyed staying in the hotel for 1 week.
